quite a gadget,
I bought this detector to locate a lost wedding ring in my two acre yard. You will not be an expert at using it right out of the box. Every mode has its own adjustments and quirks, and it does take some practice and getting used to. I found the sounds more useful in my search than the display. Normal junk iron makes a low sound, and when I ran it over the elusive ring it screamed like a banshee. I dont know if I have found a new hobby or not, but at least I found my ring.
