Small Hand held Metal Detector with Audio Alert and Red LED Alert Excellent sensitivity and multiple applications. Can be used flat for a wide scan area or on edge for pin pointing an object. Unit can be set to alarm with tone and large LED or just the LED. Some typical uses would be: – Security screening. – Construction to locate metal in wood or other object before cutting or planning. – Locate small items lost in grass or sand.     This very low-cost metal detector was worth it’s weight. I used it to find property rods and it worked like a charm. The small size and construction require hands and knees hunting, so if you’re a prospector, do yourself a favor and buy something more practical (and more expensive) for your use.

    Works good on larger items . I got it for metal detecting to scan where I dig it does not pick up small items in dirt . It works good on larger itmes just not what I wanted it for . To helkp me locate with a samller unit after finding itme with larger metal detector .
