I waited until I used this at least a dozen times at the beach before I wrote a review. I think this ACE 250 is great. I use it at the beach on dry sand. I use Garrett headphones and a Garrett metal scoop. I watched the dvd that came with the unit and after a few hours I was a pro. This semi-retired guy has found many coins..If you use the correct setting you wont have to dig up many pop tops or beer cans.
